Thinpots Vertical Garden
What are ThinPots, these are planter pots that have been designed for the 1000 litre and old style 2000 litre ThinTanks.
(Please note the old style 2000 litre tank is no longer available for purchase)
These planter pots hang in front of the tank making them an ideal accessory for those wanting to add more foliage and greenery around the water collection system.
There is also a plan in the works to add a solar powered pump that can be used to pump the required water through the ThinPots.
Each of the planter pots will be drip fed using the built in irrigation system which makes this planter system ideal for such things as herbs, vegetables, or for succulents and colourful flowers which can be used to further conceal the ThinTank.
What Can You Grow In ThinPots?
Vegetables – in particular all leafy greens including Bok Choy, Lettuce, Rocket, Baby Spinach, Kale, Watercress, Snow Peas and more. Herbs including Basil, Thyme, Chives, Sage, Oregano, Coriander, Parsley, different types of flowers, ferns, grasses, succulents, etc.
How Do You Feed The Plants?
The potting mix should start with a slow release fertiliser which should be renewed approximately every 4 months. During the growing season liquid fertiliser should be added to any vegetables you are growing once per fortnight and could be added to any other plants you are growing once every 6 weeks.
ThinPot Colours
Container Dimensions Are: 275mm (L) x 75mm (W) x 20mm (Width @ Base ) x 200mm (H).
Container Weight: Each Weights approx 300 grams when empty. When full with wet potting mix each garden pot will range between 1.2 - 2kg.
Material: Made from high quality UV stabilised food grade Polyethylene, allowing vegetables and herbs to be grown safely. The ThinPots are expected to last up to 20 years.
The ThinPot will make your 1000L or existing old style 2000L ThinTank more than just a water tank - it will become a tank that grows, a living green wall.
